Friday, December 18th was no doubt the biggest day of the year for movie-goers. Star Wars: The Force Awakens blew past domestic box office records and LPS Integration, along with technology partners Citrix, NVIDIA Grid, ExtraHop, AppSense and Palo Alto Networks, was happy to contribute to the record-setting numbers.
LPS and Partners hosted more than 300 individuals from over 100 organizations for the Star Wars 7 movie premiere, selling out the entire Big D theater in Franklin, Tennessee. The massive event included everything from popcorn and drinks to light sabers and prize drawings. Perhaps the most exciting part was guests from the 501st Legion who brought our favorite Star Wars characters to life, creating unforgettable photo opps and memories for a lifetime.
After a presentation aptly titled The Battle of Jakku with Windows 10 and Citrix Flametroopers (yes, really), LPS presented local charity, Dreams and Wishes of Tennessee a check for $500 in honor of the 501st Legion’s attendance at the event. It was a full day of fun before the movie even started and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the day. There’s no better film to bring everyone together for an event like this.
